Tell me, Mr. Gardner, How does your garden grow?
With Dracena and Geraniums both standard and hanging.
With Chinese Lamps and Bird-of-Paradise ablooming.
With Roses from Joy and Periwinkles awinking.
Hummingbird enticers and Charity’s Basket ahanging
And many others I their name I am not aknowing.
Is that not annoying? (snicker)
But there is more, so hold!
You can not miss my hearty Marigolds
Surviving dogs, drought and cold.
Nor should you miss the giant yellow and red Cannas in color so bold,
Reminding me ever of my dear mother’s care of same in my own childhood.
And surely a gift is worthy of note, these gifted mixed color Cannas
Are as lovely as the friendship of those who gave them, so I have been told!
Say it again, this time with pictures!
Tell me, Mr. Gardner, How does your garden grow?
